A Witch To Be
Hello, beautiful soul! My name is Lexi, and thank you for visiting the Witching Hour Tarot website!
I am so thankful the Universe has brought us together, and I would love to introduce myself!
As I mentioned previously, my name is Lexi. I am a girl who has faith in the Universe and always looks for the magic hidden in the mundane aspects of life. I have always been a very spiritual person, and held my spirituality very near and dear to my heart. Since I was a child, I have held strong belief in the magic of the Universe.
The first time I can recall being introduced to magic is when I was eight years old. My Nona picked me up from school that day and took me home. She said she had something to show me. She pulled from a small pouch a crystal which was attached to a long chain. She told me this crystal could answer any question I had. She held the chain in her hand and let the crystal hang down. She then said to the crystal, "Show me 'yes'" The crystal began swinging in a circle. She then thanked the crystal and said, "Show me 'no'" The crystal then began spinning in a circle the opposite direction. She thanked the crystal once again and from there we spent the next long while asking the crystal every question we could think up. I took the use of this pendulum very seriously, and wanted one of my own.
That night, I took the metal charm, which hung from a strand of metal beads, off my backpack, and began using my makeshift pendulum. It worked just as my Nona's crystal had! The next day at school I showed all my friends, and even my teacher, my new magical tool. I was enamored by its mystical ways of working. I felt its magic in my heart, and have carried that belief in magic throughout life since.
I went on to be a collector of crystals throughout middle school, carrying an Amethyst with me if I had a headache, or a Tiger's Eye if I needed a bit of luck. Then, the Christmas after I had turned 13, my parents gave me a gift that would change my life forever... My first deck of tarot cards. It was a Halloween deck, featuring black cats, imps, ghosts, pumpkins, and bats. Halloween had always been my very favorite day of the year, and I was so excited to use my new deck to unveil the answers to the many questions a middle schooler has about life. I treasured that deck for many years, and still have it to this day. It was the catalyst to my fascination for the magical mysteries of tarot.
I've practiced tarot ever since, pulling my cards out when I had a bad day, when I had a crush, when I had an argument with a friend, or when I needed spiritual guidance and reassurance. Tarot has always been a means of spiritual support for me, and has given me reassurance throughout life that no matter what happens, I would be okay because the Universe always had my back.
Ultimately, that is the exact message I want to express to you, Beautiful Soul. No matter what phase of life you're in, no matter what challenges you've faced, and no matter what life throws your way next, you are in just the right place at just the right time. The Universe always has your back.
